Needing the fruit of your labor is the cause of suffering.
If I need no result then I am complete.
What if we planted and toiled because of the joy or at least the curiosity and maybe even the wonder of being alive and being here?
Could our significance come from an internal source that is unaffected by outcome and result?
Then if we were freed from the toil of performance could we still participate fully in life, offering our all to the people with us, this moment, just to see what could be created?
